Vivian Lupin was lounging on a couch she'd wingardium-leviosa'd there from the Library. Unfortunately, the librarian had stepped out, leaving her ample opportunity. She'd be darned if she didn't take it. She lay with a book in hand, though she set it down just then, thinking of nothing in particular, just glad she had time and the peace of mind to be able to articulate one. "Ugh," she groaned as she changed her position on the couch. She lay the book on the chair next to her that she was using as a table.

The Gryffindor was a romantic, and tonight, she felt a little melancholy. She'd chosen this particular place because she knew no one really ventured here much unless they were really struggling with a subject, and she wanted to be by herself. The common rooms were always filled with someone wanting to talk to her, and she wasn't in a mood to talk to just anyone.

It wasn't that she missed home; she really didn't, though it wasn't a terrible place to be. She loved her mother, and longed for the closeness and comfort she gave her. That was the only darwback of a new year at Hogwarts. She flopped lackadaisically on her stomach and closed he eyes. Her thoughts strayed to the past few weeks' events and how they'd gone. The redhead was prety satisified, though she'd broken up with her boyfriend of one year.

He was a git anyway, she knew. Dating, to her, was only acceptable if they found themselves compatible. She tried to convince herself that he was more than looks and money and charisma, but in the end, she just wasn't happy with him, so she'd broken it off. It doesn't matter anyway, she knew. He already has a girlfriend. Stupid boys... Vivian's thoughts faded as she neared sleep, but heard someone come in. "Hey," she greeted them, full-body stretching.

Willow glanced at the girl in front of her, she looked slightly troubled. "Whats up Viv?" She asked, Willow worried about this girl she seemed unhappy at times.
Willow giggled as she saw the couch Vivian had managed to get a hold of before transfiguring a hard wooden chair next to her into a comfy armchair.
