Talia made her way out to the Black Lake. The lake had amazed her ever since her first day but od course, even she had to admit that everything about Hogwarts amazed her. She loved the school. It was so much better here then back home. However it was not like Talia didn't like being home. She did like her home. Her father and Step mother were always very welcoming and her little brother was adorable. But Hogwarts was Hogwarts and it all in all amazed her.

Talia closed her eyes and inhaled the fresh air around her. She realized that she should probably not be outside with out an escort but in all reality Talia didn't care and it was that attitude that often got her into trouble with her father. He had always said that she was much to independant and opiniated. She had shrugged off his words and gone upstairs to read her Spell books.

With her eyes closed Talia could hear the noises surrounding her much better and in the distance, nearing her quickly she could hear footsteps. Talia's eyes shot open and she saw...

Willow standing staring at the black lake, her blonde hair rippling in the wind and her eyes narrowed. "What are you doing here Miss Legault?" Her tone wasnt angry but it did have an edge to it.

Talia wasn't nervous. She pretended to ignore the edge to her Professor's voice. Her hands clasped together, she met her Professor's gaze with a level one of her own. A long strand of brown hair whipped in front of face. Talia reached up and curled it behind her hair.

"I was enjoying the good weather Professor," said Talia.

Her startling blue eyes remained calm and unfrightened in the face of possible punishment.

Willow whipped her head around to look directly into the younger girls eyes. She was brave, very brave.
"You would have been a good Ravenclaw," Willow whispered. Her eyes filled with tears at the memories of her loss.

"But Professor, I am in Ravenclaw," said Talia softly.

Talia studied her Professor carefully. She seemed sad and looked to be crying. Talia clenched her hands together and was silent for a few moments.

"Do you mean I would have made a good Gryffindor, Professor?" she asked, her tone still soft.
