A creamy clear piece of parchment lay in front of Talia on the table. Her inkwell is filled with hand made black ink. Her quill is from the owl she owns. She had sharpened it herself. Talia's long finger's are already stained with the black of the ink. A few scattered scraps of parchment lay around her blank piece. Pieces of imagery and poems were inscribed on the parchment scraps.

Usually Talia found refuge in her poetry, but not today. Today it had just brought tears to her startlingly blue eyes and made her think of things she didn't have and assumed she would never get. Over the summer her father had tried to get her to not come back to Hogwarts and give up the nonsense of magic. His words of course. He had wanted to find her a husband. Talia refused. She would not marry one of the sons of an important buisness partner of his. Talia was obsessed with the concept of love and was now determined to find it. She knew that she would be hardpressed to find that though.

But when Talia set her mind to something it was likely to happen and Talia had set her mind to that and to her poem. Her peom was coming along slowly. So slowly Talia was tempted to give up, however she wouldn't. Talia was not one to give up on something she had set her mind on.

She needed a brain break. And as if on que and brain break came in the form of someone sitting across from her at the table. Being a conversational kind of girl Talia spoke up.

"Hello," she said cheerily.
